Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Fivemetrics (“Fivemetrics”, “we”, “us”), a multi-tenant AWS observability platform available at fivemetrics.io. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using Fivemetrics on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.

1. The service

Fivemetrics provides a unified view of your AWS cloud cost, security findings, and resource operations. To deliver these features, the service reads billing and operational data from AWS accounts you connect, through a cross-account role that you create and control.

2. Accounts & eligibility

You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account and within your organization, including the actions of team members you invite. You must be legally able to enter into these Terms.

3. Connecting your AWS account

When you connect an AWS account, you grant Fivemetrics permission to assume a role you define, scoped to reading the data required for the features you use. You are responsible for the permissions you grant and may revoke access at any time from your AWS account. You represent that you are authorized to connect the AWS accounts you link.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service in violation of any law or third-party rights.
• Attempt to access data belonging to another organization or tenant.
• Probe, scan, disrupt, or reverse engineer the service except as permitted by law.
• Connect AWS accounts you are not authorized to access, or upload content you do not have the right to provide.

5. Your data

You retain all rights to the data you connect or provide. You grant us a limited license to process that data solely to provide and improve the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your data.

6. Plans & billing

Some features may require a paid plan. Where fees apply, they will be presented to you before you incur them. Connecting your AWS account does not change your billing relationship with AWS; you remain responsible for your own AWS charges.

7. Service availability

We work to keep the service reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Cloud data shown in the product is provided for informational purposes and may not reflect real-time AWS state.

8. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your organization at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the service. Upon termination, your tenant data is removed after a short grace period.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fivemetrics will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
